Guided cave tours into the Manitou Grand Caverns plus above-ground rides over Williams Canyon, open daily 10 am to 5 pm with the last tour around 4 pm; closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Cave of the Winds Mountain Park sits above Williams Canyon off US 24, with a Manitou Springs address. Its guided tours go into the Manitou Grand Caverns: the 45-to-60-minute Discovery Tour (15 rooms, half a mile of concrete walkways, 196 stairs; $30 for adults 13 and over, $20 for children 4 to 12, free under 4, with a 10 percent military discount), the 90-minute Haunted Lantern Tour by candlelight, and an Expedition Tour on select dates. Above ground are the Terror-dactyl, a via ferrata and zip lines, all weather permitting.
The hours page gives summer hours (Memorial Day to Labor Day) and winter hours (September through May) of 10 am to 5 pm daily, with the last tour leaving around 4 pm and above-ground attractions open 11 am to 5 pm; the park is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. The page’s month-by-month table is headed “2026 hours” but its May and September rows still carry 2025 dates, so use the general hours or call. Parking is free; RVs park at the bottom of the hill by the arch sign and call 719-550-5060 for a shuttle up.
