The Manitou Springs Heritage Center, also called the Heritage Museum, collects, preserves, researches and interprets the history and culture of Manitou Springs and the Pikes Peak region. It is open every day from noon to 4 pm or by appointment; special events keep different hours. Its ghost tours page says the October walking tours are an annual fundraiser that helps keep the museum’s admission free.
The museum’s October 2026 calendar carries the 31st annual Ghost Stories of Old Manitou walking tours, Sunday-night film watch parties and talks for the Cool Science Festival.
