Swirl Restaurant and Wine Bar

Swirl at 717 Manitou Avenue is a restaurant and wine bar, open 11 am to 9 pm Monday to Saturday and 11 am to 8 pm on Sunday; the kitchen closes at the same times. It closes on Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day, and on Christmas Day only the bar is open, 4 to 9 pm.

The patio is open unless the temperature is below 45 degrees or it is raining or snowing. It cannot be reserved, guests are asked to see a server before sitting there, it is counter service in winter, and dogs are welcome on it. Reservations need 24 hours’ notice: until April 30 the restaurant takes them for parties of 2 to 22, and in summer for parties of 8 to 12; everything else is first come, first served. Parties over 22 count as reserving the whole restaurant, which it does not do, and reservations for more than 15 need a $10-a-person deposit.
